This Privacy Policy of SurePlan Financial Limited (trading as SurePlan Financial) relates to information collected and held by SurePlan Financial from its clients. SurePlan Financial Limited t/a SurePlan Financial is regulated by the Central Bank of Ireland as an investment intermediary authorised under the Investment Intermediaries Act, 1995; an insurance intermediary under the European Union (Insurance Distribution) Regulations 2018 and as a mortgage credit intermediary under the European Union (Consumer Mortgage Credit Agreements) Regulations, 2016.

Personal data, such as your name, email address and phone number; and work history, cover letter, curriculum vitae.
When you meet us for a consultation, we may collect:
Name, date of birth, civil status, PPS number, smoker status, children/dependant names and their ages/ dates of births, address, phone numbers, email address, your solicitors and accountant details, financial details and health details (incl. client medical doctors’ details, specialist consultants, medical details, family medical history), details of existing policies you have;
Photo identification, proof of address and proof of PPS number; and bank details including account holders name, IBAN and BIC.
Other sources of personal data:
If you attend one of our information events, we may obtain your name and email as part of registration and request your consent for marketing purposes.
If we engage your services for the purpose of holding a financial planning seminar or webinar, we may collect your name, company name, phone number and email address.
We may use personal data provided to us from other sources, such as, from your accountants or solicitors, but only where you have provided us with consent.
2.3 | We may process data about your use of our website (“usage data“). The usage data may include your IP address, geographical location, browser type and version, operating system, referral source, length of visit, page views and website navigation paths, as well as information about the timing, frequency and pattern of your service use. The source of the usage data is our analytics tracking system. This usage data may be processed for the purposes of analysing the use of the website and services. The legal basis for this processing is our legitimate interests, namely monitoring and improving our website and services. |
2.4 | We may process information contained in any enquiry you submit to us regarding goods and/or services (“enquiry data“). The enquiry data may be processed for the purposes of offering, marketing and selling relevant goods and/or services to you. The legal basis for this processing is consent. |

We disclose your personal data to third parties or public officials when we are legally obliged to do so. We might disclose your personal data to third parties if you have consented to it or if there are other legal grounds for it.
2.8 | Please do not supply any other person’s personal data to us unless we prompt you to do so. |
Retaining and deleting personal data
3.1 | This Section 3 sets out our data retention policies and procedure, which are designed to help ensure that we comply with our legal obligations in relation to the retention and deletion of personal data. |
